Girl's high school softball......BTW, whomever it was who first called that "thing" a softball, had no idea of what soft was.  If you ever got one in the head you'll know soft is not the proper name.

Sliding into 3rd base on a steal attempt, the player just manages to grab the base before the 3rd baseman can apply the tag.  That's what happens when there's a wild pitch and the catcher is late throwing to 3rd base to stop the steal.
