Caban Coch

We drove over to the Elan Valley near Rhayader this morning and walked  the Nant-Y-Gro trail around the reservoir to the remains of the dam which, in 1942, was used to test the explosives used in the Dambusters raid. My blip however is of the 37metre high Caban Coch dam, the last of the four dams on the river Elan.
