Miner’s lettuce with fly

Spotted this plant, in abundance, today on the side of the road going down from Calton Hill. I don’t think I’d ever seen it before, but it’s probably quite common. Liked by foragers, according to my research, and originating in the USA where miners ate it to keep scurvy away. The fly seemed to like it too! A fly-free picture as an extra.
