Not yellow!

What's all this about yellow daffodils? Some of us are white, you know!

A few days ago it would have been too wet to walk down the garden and discover this beauty, but today it wasn't squelchy. Good thing as our daughter brought the children over this afternoon, and LMB wanted to play out awhile. She and her mum were bees visiting all the flowers. 

Earlier, little Miss B had baked chocolate buns with me, complete with chocolate icing. She arrived all prepared with bun cases and Smarties to go on the chocolate icing. We had to use the same recipe as those I made last week as; apparently, they went down very well. She's enjoying the school holidays.

Later, Mr B joined us, bringing fish and chips for all, which rounded off the afternoon very nicely. 

This morning was Line Dancing in Grantham. I like that group better than the village one. For one thing, we dance to Country and Western music mostly, whereas at the new group, it's all pop music (and too loud)! Still, variety is the spice of life, innit!
