Big Sky

Had a walk at lunchtime and followed a path I thought I knew, only to find that it was a different one that looked quite similar. So I climbed over a fence and found myself fighting through a small wood with no idea where I was going.

After a few minutes, I was pushing leaves out the way, ducking under thorny branches and avoiding big holes with stagnant water in them. Eventually, I found the other side and I came stumbling out of the trees onto the proper path, in my work shoes, trousers and shirt, looking like a complete prat.

A girl was coming up the path with her dog just at that moment and she looked at me like I had been up to something odd in the woods. I held my camera out in front of me, thinking that it would explain my rumaging in the woods in my smartish clothes, but I think that only made her more suspicious.

Anyway, quite nice to get lost at lunchtime and the sky was amazing...when I could see it again.

Having some pic processing problems with CS3 after moving from Elements. Processing pics has become a bit of a nightmare. I know far too little about too many things and not a lot about all of them. Or something.
