Early Birds

A backblip..

Last day at Southport today, it wasn't quite early when we woke up but the streets were empty.. A Sunday morning after all. Three of us went out in search for Starbucks coffee fix, and on our way back, we stopped by to admire some sights and one of them was this -- Southport Pier.

This shot was taken from atop Marine Way Bridge while looking out Southport Marine Lake.. Only later did I realize that this lake was man made and it dates back to 1887.. There were quite a lot of other "Early Birds" there, some bikers, some joggers and lots of rowers on the lake.. But only one blipper, haha!

We then headed back to Pontins, had breakfast, a lot of chitchat and each headed home. Mr M was still in leave tomorrow so we decided togo straight to our friends' place at Walsall so we could head out tomorrow to Bicester Village for some shopping.

I was in a very foul mood tonight hence I wasn't able to blip on time although I've had this shot since early today.. Something to do with me wanting to go home early tomorrow (becausemy new wide angle lens will be coming!) and Mr M wants to wait and see what the others' plans are..
