Castle Ferry

We walked from Dartmouth to Little Dartmouth today via the castle. This is a favourite walk but today there was no sun, or blue sea just murk. We have never taken the small ferry to the castle. It is a great walk especially beyond the castle and on to the coast path at Little Dartmouth. It was raining and misty some of the time,but when the mist cleared we saw two swallows, who had just arrived from somewhere warm. Then a skylark appeared.
