Snakeshead Fritillaria

It was nice and sunny in the morning when we did our shopping, but when we had a walk at the loch the rain came on.  Didn't find anything very much of interest to blip at the loch, the birds were all out of range in the middle of the loch; but when we came home I spotted these beauties in the woodland patch.

And pleased to see the great tits taking occupation of our wee bird house for the third year.   They are so busy carrying bits and pieces to build their nest in there.
