for a walk by the loch. The flowers are slow to appear this year, but the Scrub Birch catkins were a riot of reds and oranges, colouring the ground and disguising the washed green of winter. They looked good in the sun. Celandines are the exception, as they are profuse at the moment and look glorious as an under growth with banks of Daffodils.
