Meresands Wood

We walked round the perimeter of Meresands Woods today and miraculously it didn't rain! I was half hoping to get some shots of spring butterflies but there wasn't any sunshine, so they didn't come out to play.  

This is an upside-down view of a snail. A banded snail, maybe, but I don't know.
