Strawberry fields forever

Time to conserve the strawberries or rather to pack them in the freezer for winter. Went to our regular farm, where we have often picked them ourselves, but this time there was no possibility so we just bought 10 kg i.e. two boxes. There had been many pickers so they announced in a sign that no strawberries were left today, when we arrived. Fortunately we had booked our boxes already yesterday.

Now the strawberries are in the freezer with the assistance of my mother-in-law, and we had a tasty treat of vanilla ice cream with strawberries as our reward.
