Donkey Rescue

Wild or abandoned Donkeys are being rescued from being slaughtered for their fur or because of overpopulation. There are hundreds of Burros/donkeys at this rescue next door to the farm we visited that had adopted 30 donkeys to give them a forever home. The couple who own the property dearly love their donkeys and accept help caring for them; my daughter & her boyfriend go out to the farm often to help and love these loveable animals.  See the extra photo of our daughter with one of the loved donkeys. The second extra is a photo of two young donkeys, the brown one is 3 months old and the other is 4 months old; they were both adorable.

My husband is a Donkey lover so he was delighted to get a cuddle from the friendly donkeys on the farm.
