Jay

I have not been out of the house all day except late this afternoon to collect some stronger painkillers for Mr A, who is in agony and who has laid on the bed most of the day; he has not been alone, Dougal has spent all day laying beside him!

It has been dull and overcast today and then during this afternoon it started to rain. I made a quick dash outside to get a blip and rushed back indoors to find this bird on the feeders. It obliging stayed still long enough for me to get some pictures, as usual through the kitchen window. We had not seen a Jay in the garden for many months, until yesterday evening, when I did not get a chance to photograph it.
