The Almond

It was a walking day with our group The 2nd Saturday Strollers.  This month we caught the bus to East Calder, and took the Shale Trail starting at Almondell Country Park. This is a heritage trail of about 10 miles running through West Lothian. It was good to see friends, but as I have done so much walking recently I was happy to only complete half the walk and take the bus back from Broxburn.  I will find out soon how the rest of the walk went. 
Cake making and organising for a canal event tomorrow is what comes next.
