Geraniums

This is the best I could come up with on Sunday - a snap of my housemate's geranium plant against the garden wall! Cheery colours though.

A busy day. In the morning we managed to get out on the mountain bikes for an hour or so in the sunshine, which was great fun, but oh my - I am not bike fit at the moment! I was struggling with the climbs far more than I should have. Must get out a bit more I think!

In the afternoon I picked up a bargain or two in the charity shops (hard to do these days - generally it's cheaper to go to Primark - LOL) and caught up on some reading, enjoying the balmy weather. By the evening, the sky clouded over, and the heavens opened! We even had hail stones! I ended up driving to Bicester through the torrential rain and thunder, to have dinner with / collect N and his mum - long story which I won't bore you with, involving locked car parks! Suffice to say it was a bizarre journey in such extreme weather, but actually a very nice evening.
