Beach day.

The beach is only a 5 minute walk from our casa so i headed down there around 11sh.   Because we are not part of a resort i don't have access to beach bed and shade...but the bar right where we get onto the beach rents them for the day ($8.00 Canadian) and so i settled myself right there a few feet from the water!  Because it was a rather overcast day i made the mistake of not using sun screen....BIG MISTAKE!!!  i now resemble a lobster and it's very uncomfortable....why did i not remember this simple rule....the strength of the sun is deceiving when it's overcast!!!  Anyway apart from that i had a lovely few hours, reading, swimming and lunch there at my little table....all provided for by a wonderful young man who was dressed in such a fabulous outfit...i had to comment!!!  

Back home and a nap, then a pre dinner beer out on our patio!   It's a rather busy road we are on, but it was just fine listening to all the goings on around us.   This lovely little yellow bird (actually a pair of them) were just in the tree beside us....have to try and find out what it's name is!
