Keeping A Lookout....

....it certainly was, in the three weekly Local Starling Relay.

George was waiting, keeping a keen eye on the sky, waiting for their teammate to arrive, to pass on the golden nugget to him.

Whoever flew around the gardens the quickest, won for themselves and their team and families, a top notch dining experience at the local Starling Inn.

Thankfully Georges team won, by a feather tip, so close it was a photo finish, but they didn't mind, as they all got to show off their gleaming feathery coats, and draw 'oohs' and 'ahhs' from some of the locals, especially when the sunshine decided to light them up.
