Water troughs

Spent all afternoon in the garden, weeding, moving plants from containers into the garden, and even got round to planting a couple of new plants. Shattered by the time I went in to make our evening meal. Had finished preparing the veg. when MrM arrived back from work, insisting that Friday night is fish & chip night. OK! So the veg went into the fridge for tomorrow's meal!

It was decided to combine our fish & chip supper with an evening walk long enough to burn off some calories! We walked down to the chip shop in Holmfirth, and ate sitting on a bench in the middle of town. After that, a very hilly 6km walk, almost entirely on very minor roads, avoiding very muddy tracks and footpaths. On Goose Green we passed these old stone water troughs; apparently they're Grade II listed. Dark by the time we got home.

Time for a film before bed.
