Possible showers late this afternoon otherwise it’s been a dry day so far! • I tucked the snow shovels under the shed to put away another day, and set two chairs out on the deck. I’m optimistic we’ll get to use them this week :) • Flood warnings are in place along the Kennebec in Augusta and Hallowell with the river peaking tomorrow morning. We went exploring to see how bad it was. Nothing compares to last December’s historic flood but it’s still concerning for those who own businesses in these areas. So far parking lots, docks and cellars are mostly impacted. Fingers crossed that’s the worst it gets • I found these two Canada geese hanging out in a flooded parking area, unfazed by the extra water. A pair of mallards dabbled nearby • It’s Saturday!
