First day of retirement

Up at 7:30. Walked from hotel to the terminal at Madrid airport. Lovely walk with clear blue sky, no wind and still cool.

Met by the family on arrival and taken into A Coruña for a celebratory lunch.

Finally arrived home about 5 pm. Whacked. Slept a three hour siesta.

Tomorrow a bit of gardening planned, preparing a new vegetable bed.

Monday, off to the UK for a family visit.
