Street Festival
The last of the events for the annual cherry blossoms festival is taking place over the weekend: the street festival. Over a five-block span in the middle of the city, it features four stages, numerous food stalls and assorted vendors of all-things-Japanese, arts and sciences exhibits. It's super well attended (see extra for the crowd) and very eclectic: combining traditional arts (from kimono wearing to martial arts) and contemporary arts (j-pop, DJs) with a bunch of animé characters roaming the crowd. It's a lot of fun!
