Tribute
After a day pottering about Covent Garden, followed by a great meal in Chinatown, we sauntered down to Trafalgar Square and were attracted to the large crowd gathering in front of the National Gallery. On closer inspection, we discovered it was Michael Jackson fans paying their respects to the King of Pop by scribbling all over one of the capital's iconic landmarks.
Bizarre as this was, it was made even more so by the fact that there were a couple of cops plus a guy identified on his jacket as a 'Heritage Warden' parading up and down keeping order and making sure everyone got a fair turn at graffiti-ing the building. It was only a matter of time before they brought in a 'take a ticket' machine from the nearby Sainsburys...
Weird. Appropriately enough.
