April Afternoon in the Park

An outstanding Spring day but not quite as warm as had been promised.

Len went to play Tennis so Basil and I drove to Queens Park in Loughborough. It was so green and the tulips (extra) were magnificent.

 I was lucky enough to squeeze into a parking space right opposite the entrance to the park. I'd brought my granny walker this time and felt reasonably comfortable walking with it, in some ways more reliable than the crutches. We made our way over to the refurbished café where I ordered a latte.

We sat under the shade and watched the birds squabbling in the aviary.
