Sunday Market
A warm sunny Sunday morning. We walked down to the lake front for a coffee and a brioche. The craft market was set up all along the lakeside road, maybe thirty to forty stalls, including a few shown here in the main square.
After a wonder through the market, during which we managed to avoid any purchases, we continued our walk by heading over to Ossuccio. The Lido was packed. Lots of people in the park sunbathing. The temperature was about 26° today, basically a summer day.
We were fortunate to be able to pounce on the only free table we saw at the bar. We had a leisurely lunch. The restaurant was very busy. It is a mystery how they manage to produce so much food from such a small kitchen.
Mad dogs go out in the midday sun, unfortunately sos do we after lunch walking back along the lake to Lenno, and then up the hill to the apartment. A glass of water was much needed.
