We left the fabulous hotel this morning - we will definitely be back, a great spa, and dinner last night was absolutely superb. Today we’ve been to the Heights of Abraham, which was great fun - see extras for Sarah with a town in the background that one of my Blip pals might just recognise….

We took the scenic route home - Derbyshire was looking glorious in the unexpected sunshine, Chatsworth was glowing and Ladybower sparkling. It was like a driving skills refresher course - navigating narrow, vertiginous roads with endless twists & switchbacks whilst trying not to grant the death-wishes of oncoming bikers, and doing this with a BMW M3 4 inches from my rear bumper. It’s a good job I drive the world’s most boring car myself.
