The last day

It was the last day of skiing season in the local ski resort so we all had to go up for a last ski. It was so hot (16 degrees) up there and the snow was very poor for skiing but we had a lovely lunch and a glass of wine and said goodbye to the snow for another year. When we came back home it was even hotter (26 degrees) but we managed to do some gardening in the shade. Sitting outside now with a glass of wine making the most of the sunshine as it’s going to rain tomorrow.
