Farnham Park

We went to see the GB Women's Softball team play a warm up game at the new diamonds at Farnham Park. It was a beautiful day and we took a picnic. Our friends Claire and Michelle were there too.

The game was interesting to watch, very fast. GB were playing a team called the Angels and I had the Space song running around my head, 'Angels, Angels, Kick-Ass Angels'. It certainly fitted the bill though GB eventually beat them. The Angels had two male players, and you could hear a sort of rumble go through the dug out and over the pitch when the came out to bat - the GB Women did not want the men to do well against them. And they did not!
