Sunday Market

This is a view of the Quayside in Newcastle from the Gateshead side.
When I first came to the North East, back in the mid Seventies, you would have been most unwise to venture down to the Quayside at night. Now it is one of 'The Places To Go' in the entire country. How times change.

The new-look riverside is a joy. It buzzes with life, with businesses and entertainment, with locals and tourists.We have Big Ships visiting, Music Concerts, markets, Fun Runs,eating out everywhere you turn, new apartments, new build up close to the historical. Fantastic.
We came to drop my daughter off at the railway station and then parked up and enjoyed a stroll around. The sun even shone!
