Post-wedding perks...

One of the advantages of being mother of the bride, and hostess for the post-wedding party, is that the happy couple donated their flowers in this direction. They are getting a wee bit beyond their peak now but are still beautiful, with the white peony roses and white roses still giving off the most glorious scent, while wilting slightly amongst the greenery.

As I'm on holiday this week it's great to have time to enjoy these floral reminders of our celebration weekend.
