Workshop backblip

Landscapes in Charcoal.. 
That was such a fun day learning how to manipulate charcoal to produce landscapes with layers and textures.. there are some of my 10 minute sketches.. quite smudged as we were working on a concertina piece of paper with no fixer so as I held it to draw the next picture I smudged the underneath one.. but no matter it adds to the softness in some places.  Each of these were the work of 10 minutes or less.. I feel inspired to make up a charcoal sketch kit to take around with me.. 
The sun shone and we ate lunch in the garden as well as being able to wander outside sketching. .. beautifully sheltered garden full of interest and sculpture
