Better photo than the ones I took of the weather

Latest pen by Terry. I saw him making this (lathe) and thought what a lot of mess there is from the lovely things he makes. Glad I don't have to clear it up!
Today has been awful weather. Torrential rain, hailstones and gales. Some parts of the country had tornadoes. I haven't ventured out - it wasn't fit. Consequently bored to tears. The sun has come out now (16:20) but it's still blowing a gale.
I had started getting ready to go to see Mum but she rang twenty minutes before the time we'd agreed to say not to come as she was not feeling well. I will ring her tomorrow.
Terry braved the weather to fill the bird feeders (he caught a break in the rain and hail).
