Nice end to the day

After strong winds and torrential rain at times, we were treated to a rather lovely sunset!

I spent the morning cooking a roast lunch and caught up with a friend this afternoon. And we are invited to a 70th wedding anniversary celebration for a while on Wednesday afternoon in a house near us. The couple are not too well, but want friends to drop in for a while at different times to see them on the day. Stuart and I used to go to a young people’s group held at their house in the late 70’s. It was very convenient for me as I lived so near!
