As far as I am concerned deer are best seen running around the Scottish mountains, not munching flowers in our garden 
This one has demolished all our bergenia, a plant that until now we thought they didn’t like. Clearly, they have changed their eating habits. 
It looks as if our garden is no longer deerproof. Time to find the offending hole.

Has anyone found a method of deterring deer that does not involve  high fences? Some years ago we  collected lion dung from the local safari park. Fine until it rained.
