Cheese Heaven

It was a bit of a shock to the system today as Mr P and I had to be up and out by 5.45am. We caught the first train from Claygate to London and then the Eurostar to Paris. So far so smooth but then we only had an hour to get from Gare du Nord to Gare Montparnasse for our next train to Agen. It was all really rushed and stressful and I was convinced we weren’t going to make it but we did, with time to spare. Our friends Suz and Jean picked us up at Agen. We’re staying over in their beautiful farmhouse for a few days. After a walk with Vito, their very sweet (and huge) dog, they cooked us an absolutely delicious meal. C’est merveilleux!
