Beautiful Botanics

A fairly mediocre day weather-wise! but a great day for St Andrews Botanic Gardens - gardens are under threat due to local & University finances. Make sure you visit if you can and encourage 'the Friends' who are working to keep these amazing gardens open. So hard to choose what to blip. I left the orchids & water lilies to Hollieberry (as the have already appeared in my recent blips) but just had to include the Crinodendron (yes I do know the name - the lady in the tearoom at Colonsay House & Gardens told me!) as I couldn't fit it in to my holiday blips (too much to choose from). Sorry Hollieberry.
