Thought it was time to visit the newly refurbished Dean Castle...ancestral home of the Boyd family in Kilmarnock. We were in Kilmarnock anyway so dropped in at 2.30 only to find it wasn't allowing any more visitors as they close at 3. Shucks....better planning next time.
