Sunshine & Warmth

This demanded a day out. To the historic town of Falkland in Fife (it features regularly in the TV series Outlander). A vibrant wee place, some great shops. The buildings are ancient and quirky. Mrs FP was tempted by this blanket woven in Newburgh just a few miles away. The blanket was purchased. There is an up and coming open studios event. May pop over to meet the weavers (you get a shot at trying to weave).

Lunch was enjoyed at The Pillars of Hercules cafe and their magnificent farm shop.

And a woodland walk to round off the visit.
