My plan today was to go to Hawse End and have a look for textures. I did photo a few, but this one caught my eye. A bank of daffodils within trees was lovely even though the daffs were past their best. Leaves, petals, bark, soil and stones all different textures.
Hawse End, Portinscale, near Keswick and on the side of Derwentwater, is the sight of an outdoor education centre. Each year for one week this was where we had our residential, learning outdoorsy things.
Spent time today setting up the camera on a tripod and took in the scene, a scene that included canoe instruction. Now that did bring back memories. Sun was shining, but the wind was chilly again.
