July photo a day: Day 2: Shoes

It is raining today. Because I am an idiot, I wore jeans on the school trip, and they soaked up lots of water and soaked my shoes and socks. That is the shoe link. I used to love looking at leaking oil patterns in the rain when we used to park in an outdoor car park in Preston when I was young.

I decided that modern cars are miserable, because they don't suffer from oil leaks as much, so you don't get pretty puddles. The man from next door happily proved me wrong. Happily for me, anyway. He's been out there three nights in a row, bonnet up, topping up fluids. Not so happy for him.
