Pendon
On the train to Reading and met my friend. We continued to Didcot and walked north-east to the Thames at Long Wittenham. The aim was to visit Pendon. "Pendon Museum preserves the idyllic rural scene and transport of the 1920s and 30s in a miniature form for future generations to enjoy."
And interesting it was too - recreating inter-war southern England in great detail.
Then a pub lunch at the Plough Inn and a walk along the Thames before looping back to Didcot.
