City Waters

Always happy to be here...I was walking today on University Bridge where I haven’t been much lately and had to wait for this spud barge to pass through.  (extra)    The clouds were so fine…it did rain a bit later on….and it’s chilly.   but I liked this view of this bridge and the high I5 expressway over Lake Union. (called the ship canal bridge)    You can see an 8x rowing shell just leaving the rowing club dock.  Very tired today…we both had a nap.   
A spud barge is a maritime construction vessel with a flat surface and pilings that it can anchor itself in the bottom with... here's more than you might want to know on this link......
Was thinking about all the docks here that block light to the water and how I"ll bet they will be all required to change (like in canada ..see yesterday blip).  When our condo rebuilt the adjoining condo dock, it had to have see through portions....several  (5!)  years ago.   Not sure how much will get grandfathered in.
