Pink Rose in an urban garden

This evening I was invited into my mother's neighbour's house on a large estate built in the 1970s to find the most amazing jewel of a walled garden festooned with pink roses. The owner had tended and cared for this garden since the house was built. He was clearly delighted to be able to show it off and proudly described how the roses occasionally flowered at Christmas. .
