Spice

I am intrigued by the beauty of the combined spices and the amount of spice called for in the recipe I am preparing. The dishes my mom prepared were mostly spiced with a bit of salt and pepper. She never knew the luxurious flavors of food from India, Ethiopia, and the Mediterranean.
