The garden of England

The county of Kent is known as the garden of England; it's wonderful being down here getting the first of all the homegrown veg and fruit.  Its the asparagus season now, nearly a month early this year.  I bought the oyster mushrooms and asparagus and had them with pumpkin Gnocchi for supper last night.
