Cold Wet Red Roses

I know that it is more red roses but somehow the bleak grey sky gave a lovely clean backdrop to help show the colour of these roses and I know that we will only have them for a short while at the back if this weather keeps up so I will blip whenever I can.
I did some lupins and some other shots but posted these to the blipfolio so that I did not have to think too hard about which shot to post this evening.
PS I tried to catch a nice evening light before Eastenders but the light was so bad out there and dreary dark that I thought we were starting to experience Autumn 2013!!?
