Urban sunset

A trip to the garden centre with MrM to purchase some more peat-free compost this morning, then an hour or so in the garden. A bit too optimistic in leaving my gardening tools in the front garden while we had lunch. MrM alerted me that it was raining hard, and as I ran to fetch the tools I was pelted with hailstones! Too wet for gardening after that.

To Chris and Mike's later on, for a meal. Chris, who's diabetic, had prepared a delicious low-carb meal to fit in with her diabetes and also with her Zoe diet plan - stuffed aubergines with roasted veg., followed by a chocolate desert. What a treat!

As we drove home the sun was setting and, in the valley below, the street lights in Brighouse were coming on.
