on squirrel watch

Ziggy intently watching a squirrel on the patio who’d just stolen a crust of bread off the birdtable. He does this for a few minutes before suddenly barking and wildly rushing outside. By this time the squirrel’s run off through one of the squares in the trellis, hanging on to the stolen crust. Ziggy then sniffs the escape square, barks again, and struts back inside the kitchen.
A trip to Morrisons this morning and I’ve made a start on Jim’s birthday blanket.
