Birdland

Out for a lunchtime walk for fresh air and to see what there was to see and, well, there was this little bird posing ever so nicely. :-)  The sunshine was lovely but the cold wind was nearly too much for my thin leggings.

I also took some photos of the old road nearby that was subsumed in the great roadbuilding projects of probably 25 years ago, but I think you really need stereoscopic vision to appreciate the way the tarmac recedes and then disappears into an earthen mound.
