Coot Chick

Lots of things ive wanted to try when out taking pictures i actually did today. Also ended up with plenty of nice pictures. I kinda selected this one today to post here thou as belive it or not its the first time i have been about an arms reach of a coot chick with mumy and dad coot leading them to me. Also got trusted to look after it as the parents took off with their other 2 chicks and chased of some mallards while one just stayed behind where i was laying waiting for a grebe and its chick to come up close. Them grebes just wont come near with a chick about.
