pottery

We hired a taxi for the day and headed off to Coba and Tulum.   It's a 2 hour drive - and our driver Emilio was wonderful.   Once there, we got ourselves sorted with tickets and found a lovely Mayan guide.....about half an hour into the exploration, Terry suddenly felt very ill - mind you it was extremely hot and i was certainly feeling a bit exhausted myself.   But he wasn't in a very good place...so long story short, we got back into the air conditioned car and drove home.   Terry is particularly disappointed because it was one of the aspects of coming to Mexico that had him very excited....poor guy!   I felt so badly for him.  

We stopped at this amazing pottery place on the road out of Coba and i was astonished....it was huge and so much pottery!   I purchased a small plate and bowl - of course i had to!!!
